About the Artist:
DeGarmo & Key is Christian rock band that emerged in 1977 and features the duo of Eddie DeGarmo (keyboards and backup vocals) and Dana Key (lead singer and guitarist). They made a significant impact creating the first Christian rock album nominated for a Grammy and the first American Christian group to have a music video on MTV. In total, the group had seven Grammy nominations and five Dove Awards!
There were other musicians at the time of formation: John Hampton, David Spain, Max Richardson, and Terry Moxley (drums), along with Joe Hardy and Ken Porter (bass). Later new members joined: Tommy Cathey (bass), Greg Morrow (drums), and Tony Pilcher (rhythm and second lead guitar).
Popular Hits: “Destined to Win”, “Let the Whole World Sing”, “Six, Six, Six”, “Boycott Hell”, “Every Moment” and “Casual Christian”.
Popular Albums: Streetlight (1986), D&K (1987), and The Pledge (1989).
