About the Artist:
Johnny Cash was an American singer and songwriter. The artist’s music contains themes of sorrow, moral tribulation, and redemption. Cash was known for his deep and calm voice. His backup, The Tennesse Three, created train-like chugging guitar rhythms creating a rebellious sound with a humble demeanor. Johnny cash got his nickname “Man in Black” because of his all-black stage wardrobe that became his trademark.
About the Album:
This is Johnny Cash’s first live album recording, which was originally recorded and released in 1968. This live show performance in front of two thousand prisoners and armed guards in the notorious California prison of Folsom has now been reissued on 150-gram vinyl.
