About the Band:

for KING & COUNTRY is a Pop-Christian band made up of two brothers, Joel and Luke Smallbone. The brothers were born in Australia. In 1991, their family of seven children moved to the United States. From there on, they settled in Nashville, Tennesse. The brothers used to sing backup vocals for their sister, Rebecca St. James.

About the Album:

This album contains very meaningful songs to Joel and Luke. The popular song Burn the Ships, which is also the title of the album, has a very personal story behind it. It all comes from the vulnerable story behind Luke’s wife being pregnant with their second son.
