About the Artist:
Dion DiMucci (now known as Dion) is an American singer and songwriter. His music is a combination of many genres such as doo-wop, pop, rock, R&B, folk and blues. Dion originally was in a band called Dion and the Belmonts, but he later began his solo career. Breaking off from the band launched him to be the most well-known rock and roll performers of the pre-British Invasion era.
Dion had 39 Top 40 hits in the late 1950s and early 1960s as a solo performer and with his old band. He is best remembered for his signature hit songs “Runaround Sue”, “The Wanderer”, “Ruby Baby” and “Lovers Who Wander.”
